A website can be designed and maintained with a simple HTML editor or one can use a full featured editor such as Dreamweaver or Xara Web Designer. Many organizations do not have a staff member dedicated to the website. In some cases there may be frequent turnover of the staff member that is responsible for maintaining the website. In these cases we recommend using a relatively simple HTML editor. The learning curve is not nearly as steep as it would be with Dreamweaver. Therefore when the website duties are passed on from one staff person to the next the transition is not nearly as painful. If there is a staff person dedicated to design and maintenance of the website and there is good continuity then we would recommend a full featured HTML editor. If this is the case, then it may well be that you don’t need our services when it comes to website design and maintenance. Pricing The scope of this type of work is highly variable. Onsite the first hour is $90.00. Every hour after that is $75.00. Offsite the hourly rate is $75.00 per hour.
